After ejection in Game 4, TNT import Rice Jr fined P26,000
The fine is an accumulation of the TNT import's various offenses – the flagrant 1 and technical fouls, flipping the middle finger, and for disrespecting team and league officials

MANILA, Philippines – The past two days have not been good to TNT import Glen Rice Jr.

Rice Jr was ejected late in the first quarter of the KaTropa’s season-ending 105-115 Game 4 semis loss to Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Sunday, October 8 and now, he is being fined a hefty P26,000 for his actions.

According to the PBA’s website, the fine is an accumulation for his flagrant 1 and technical foul, which got him thrown out of the game, plus the use of the middle finger and for disrespecting team and league officials.

Rice Jr was a having a solid first quarter Sunday, October 8, with 5 assists, 3 rebounds, two points and a steal before he was thrown out of the game.

Ginebra’s Kevin Ferrer pressed hard against Rice Jr but the high-scoring import lost his cool and pushed Ferrer to the ground, which earned him the flagrant 1. Rice then threw the ball at the lanky forward but missed, an action that earned him a technical foul and ultimately got him tossed from the game.

Before leaving the court, Rice Jr seemed to have a heated exchange with TNT alternate governor Pato Gregorio.
