PBA to take legal action against 'Spider-Man'
MANILA, Philippines – The stunt of a man dressed in a Spider-Man costume who disrupted Game 5 of the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup finals has not been taken lightly by the league.
Paolo Felizarta is set to face legal charges after storming the court of the Araneta Coliseum and accidentally hitting June Mar Fajardo on his right jaw.
Flashing a placard with "Vote! Love!" written on it, Felizarta was adamant he meant no harm and said he bumped Fajardo only because he had trouble seeing through his mask.

But the PBA cracked the whip and brought him to Station 7 of the Quezon City Police District, where he is currently detained.
According to Police Staff Sergeant Oliver Bocade, the case investigator, Felizarta can be charged with unjust vexation and alarm and scandal.
"Pinapatanong ko sa legal namin kung anong klaseng kakasuhan. Kakasuhan namin 'yung tao," PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said shortly after the incident.
(I asked our legal team what cases we could file against him. But we'll definitely file a case against him.)
With Felizarta dodging security, Marcial said he will be asking for more personnel for the rest of the best-of-seven affair.
"Kakausapin ko 'yung Araneta baka mamaya kung nandito pa sila or bukas na dagdagan 'yung security," he said.
(I will talk to the Araneta management to ask if they could provide more security.)
"Tatawagan ko rin si NCRPO General (Guillermo) Eleazar kung puwede magdagdag ng pulis kasi ngayon lang nangyari ito sa atin eh."
(I will also call NCRPO General Eleazar if they could give us more policemen since this is the first time this happened to us.)
