HIGHLIGHTS: Alaska vs San Miguel – PBA Finals game 1

MANILA, Philippines – The 40th season of the Philippine Basketball Association comes down to 7 games. 

The Alaska Aces and the San Miguel Beermen meet in the finals of the Governors’ Cup conference, a rematch of their epic 7-game series which decided the Philippine Cup for San Miguel.

The San Miguel Beermen struck first in the PBA Governors’ Cup finals after leading wire-to-wire in their dominant Game 1 win against the misfiring Alaska Aces, 108-78, on Friday, July 10, at the Mall of Asia Arena. 

Led by the the 32 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds of import Arizona Reid, San Miguel established a double-digit lead in the first quarter and never looked back throughout the game, in which they didn’t allow the Aces to go on their trademark game-altering rally.
