MANILA, Philippines – Local hero Mark “Mugen” Striegl conquered Bulgaria’s Sotir Kichukov and won via unanimous decision in the undercard of ONE Championship: “Age of Domination” on Friday, December 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Striegl took the opening round as he scored a takedown at the 3:15 mark of the first round. Striegl stayed on top of his opponent, who spent most of the round on the mat.

The second round was similar as Striegl forced the fight to the ground two separate times by scoring two more takedowns.

Kichukov generated some offense at the beginning of the last round but the Baguio native forced another takedown, as he regained control of the round.

The Filipino-American fighter bounced back from his previous defeat against Reece McLaren as he rose to 15-2 following his dominant performance.

On the other hand, the 26-year-old Kichokov plunged to 13-5 after this setback. – Rappler.com
