WATCH: CM Punk unveils transformed physique in UFC training
CM Punk trains with UFC fighters with Rashad Evans, Luke Rockhold and Forrest Griffin as he prepares for his Octagon debut

MANILA, Philippines – As his loyal fans waits for his heavily-hyped mixed martial arts debut in early 2016, former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar CM Punk intensely continues to grind in the gym.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has released an exclusive footage of CM Punk, engaging in a strength and conditioning program with UFC fighters Rashad Evans, Luke Rockhold and Forrest Griffin at the Phoenix, Arizona-based EXOS athlete performance institute, a state-of-the-art training facility that recently agreed to form a joint venture with the world’s premier MMA promotion.

“This is the place to be if you’re an athlete. They have a set regimen they’ve been putting us through. It’s all functional stuff for what we have to do when we step into the Octagon,” CM Punk stated.

The physique of the 36-year-old native of Chicago, Illinois was once a laughing matter in wrestling promos and storylines as he did not sport a conventional muscular frame for wrestlers.

However, it was seen in the video that CM Punk’s body transformed into a ripped and huge form.

CM Punk, whose real name is Phil Brooks, inked a multi-fight contract with the UFC last December after his surprising departure from WWE in January 2014.

The ex-WWE performer has not yet announced the weight class in which he will compete at, and the date for his first Octagon appearance remains unknown.
