MANILA, Philippines – The Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws easily took down the UST Tigresses in 3 sets, 25-16, 25-23, 25-17, to win game two of their series and bag the Shakey’s V-League Season 12 Collegiate Conference bronze medal on Saturday, September 26, at The Arena in San Juan.

Led by the 15 points of veteran volleyball player Jovelyn Gonzaga and combined 24 points of Honey Royse Tubino and Bernadeth Pons, FEU finished their adversaries easily in the one hour and 29 minutes-long match that took place in front of 672 spectators.

Joy Palma also played well for FEU with 8 points, while Jerrili Malabanan pitched in 6. 

UST was led by 10 points each from EJ Laure and Pam Lastimosa.

FEU dominated their opponents in the spikes battle, 40-29, and recorded more block points, 10-5. The Lady Tamaraws also had more excellent sets, 17-10.

The collegiate conference of the V-League could end on Sunday, September 27, if the Ateneo Lady Eagles beat the NU Lady Bulldogs in game two of their best-of-3 finals series.
