MANILA, Philippines – Globe now offers new roaming packages that are cheaper than using the network’s roaming services at the daily rate of P599.

Called Roam Surf, rates may go as low as P300 per day on the lengthiest option – the 30-day package Roam Surf 30D for for P8,999.

Other options are Roam Surf 3D for P1,499 (3 days at P500 per day); Roam Surf 5D for P2,299 (5 days at P460 per day); Roam Surf 7D for P2,999 (7 days at P430 per day); and Roam Surf 15D for P4,999 (15 days at P333 per day). 

The packages, however, are only currently available in 3 countries: the United States, South Korea, and Australia.

Users will have to register upon landing at country of destination, before turning on mobile data and data roaming. To register, customers just need to dial *143#, then choose Roaming & Int’l, Roaming Promos, Data Promos, then choose the preferred Roam Surf variant.

Customers also need to ensure they are connected to T-Mobile or AT&T in the US; SK Telecom in South Korea; or Optus in Australia to avail of the packages.
