Google’s augmented reality-based Measure app comes to Android phones
Measure allows users of compatible phones to take measurements of surfaces and other objects by walking around them

MANILA, Philippines – Apple’s not the only one with a measuring application for augmented reality devices! Google’s got its own app with the same name, and the company is now opening it up for use on augmented reality-capable Android smartphones.

9to5Google reported Thursday, June 21, the latest version of Measure will allow users of compatible phones to take measurements of surfaces and other objects.

Upon starting the application, users will be walked through a calibration process for the app, after which they can then attempt to measure items at their leisure by walking around an object.

A list of devices that support the ARCore platform and the app is available here while the app can be downloaded on the Google Play Store. – Rappler.com
