Facebook launches standalone Groups app
Facebook Groups lets members of specific groups stay in touch with each other on their own dedicated application

MANILA, Philippines – Facebook launched Tuesday, November 18, a new standalone application that allows users to more readily connect and share with specific groups on their Facebook accounts.

Known as Facebook Groups, the standalone app for iOS and Android devices will show users the groups they’re a part of. Users can share information, photos, or links while staying in touch.

The Facebook Groups app will also let users discover and join new groups for their particular interests based on pages you’ve liked.

Facebook Groups is now available in all countries for Android and iOS devices. – Rappler.com
