MANILA, Philippines – Smartphone maker Oppo revealed Tuesday, May 12, that 3 more of its smartphones would be launching in the Philippines.

The smartphones – the Joy Plus, Neo 5, and R1X – are meant to represent different facets of the smartphone community, with a budget-priced, mid-range, and premium smartphone offering available.

Their entry-level Joy Plus comes with a 4-inch display, a 1.3 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It uses a 3-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Neo 5, meanwhile, is their mid-range offering. The Neo 5 smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. It also sports has a 4.5-inch display, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.

On the premium end, the R1X uses a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octacore processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 5-inch display. The R1X also takes advantage of 16GB of internal storage (with an expansion slot for with up 128GB of extra space), a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera.

The 3 models all run on Color OS 2.0 mobile operating system, which is based on Android 4.4.
