Formally revealed at an event in Makati on Monday, July 20, the Mi 4i features a 5-inch 1080p full HD display that allows for a high pixels per inch (ppi) count at 441ppi, along with Sunlight Display technology that automatically adjusts the contrast for better viewing under direct sunlight.

Xiaomi’s Mi 4i will cost P9,799 (about $218).

The Mi 4i is powered by a 2nd-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor and comes with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of onboard Flash memory. It will also run MiUI 6, which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. 4G dual SIM capabilities with dual standby slots come standard.

The Mi 4i also features a rather powerful battery in a slim design, with a 3120 mAh battery that can, with power saving features enabled, allow for up to 1.5 days of charge through normal use. Charging back to full power will take approximately 3 hours, though it can go back to 40% charge within around an hour of charging for people on the go.
