Alma Moreno: I may not be a good speaker but I have heart

Parañaque councilor Alma Moreno said she is still moving forward on her candidacy for the Senate, despite reactions to her interview with Karen Davila on ANC’s Headstart. Alma told supporters, “I am Alma Moreno. I’m going through something. I suppose you saw it on TV. But I’m still fighting. I may not be that good a speaker, but I have a heart for the people.” Moreno admitted in a speech Thursday that she was hurt by the ridicule captured in the hashtag  #PrayForAlma. In the interview, she jokingly suggested couples should always have the lights on as a method of birth control. When asked on the Reproductive Health Law, she said, “Do I still have to answer that?”
