Over 250 guests on two of their flights bound for Calgary got to meet a jolly Santa Claus who asked the most important question of the month – what would you like for Christmas?

The young and old told Santa their wishes, amused at the legendary figure come to life via video from a gift box. The wishes ranged from big TVs to gadgets to socks. On their blog, WestJet says the surprise was their idea of “what ‘giving’ looked like at its best.
