MANILA, Philippines - The 29th PMPC Star Awards for Movies took place at the AFP Theater in Camp Aguinaldo on March 10, Sunday. Arrivals began at 6pm; the program ended at 11pm.

"Alagwa" went home with 4 awards for the indie film category, including Indie Movie of the Year.
"El Presidente" conquered the mainstream movie category, receiving 9 awards including Movie Director of the Year (Mark Meily), Movie of the Year, and Movie Actor of the Year (ER Ejercito).
