Shia LaBeouf says he was raped at art show

MANILA, Philippines – In a new interview published in Dazed and Confused magazine, actor Shia LaBeouf said that he had been raped by a woman during a previous art show in which he participated in February.

In the show, Shia wore a paper bag over his head and allowed viewers to interact with him, though he did not speak.

“One woman who came with her boyfriend, who was outside the door when this happened, whipped my legs for ten minutes and then stripped my clothing and proceeded to rape me… There were hundreds of people in line when she walked out with dishevelled hair and smudged lipstick. It was no good, not just for me but her man as well,” he wrote.

He also said that his girlfriend Mia Goth was in line to see him as they had been apart. “When she came in she asked for an explanation, and I couldn’t speak, so we both sat with this unexplained trauma silently. It was painful,” he said.

Shia’s comments above are part of a longer interview conducted online, though he met Dazed’s journalist in person, meeting silently for an hour with GoPros strapped to their heads. – Rappler.com
