As of 4 pm, Paeng was spotted at 985 kms east of Virac, Catanduanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 95 km per hour near the center, and gustiness of up to 120 km per hour. It is forecast to move northwest at 13 km per hour.

Earlier, PAGASA said that while Paeng is still too far to affect any part of the country, it will continue to enhance northeasterly winds over the eastern seaboard of Central and Southern Luzon and of Visayas.

The next bulletin on Paeng will be issued at 11 pm on Saturday.

Cloudy All Souls’ Day

Meanwhile, it will be a cloudy All Souls’ Day in many areas on Sunday.
