Rains in Luzon, Western Visayas on Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines – The southwest monsoon is expected to bring rains to Luzon and Western Visayas on Tuesday, August 2.

In its bulletin issued 5 pm on Monday, August 1, state weather bureau PAGASA said there will be moderate to heavy rains in Zambales, Bataan, Mindoro, and Palawan. These provinces should watch out for possible floods and landslides.

Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon – including Metro Manila – as well as Western Visayas will have light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.

Mindanao and the rest of the Visayas will just have isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA also warned that coastal waters in Luzon and Western Visayas will be moderate to rough, with moderate to strong winds.
