We are giving away chock-full of prizes in this episode so stay tuned!

It’s been weeks since the Tokyo Olympics ended, but there’s still a post-Games high – after all, this was the Philippines’ most bemedalled contingent, and what better way to ride the high by making some Japanese food!

In this episode of Kitchen 143, host Michelle Aventajado will show how to make homemade Japanese meals using her trusty Tiger Tacook and prepare a proper teishoku, or classic set meal, courtesy of Yayoi. Joining her are Akiko Thomson Guevara, who’s not only part-Japanese, but also represented the Philippines as a swimmer in 3 Olympiads – 1988 Seoul, 1992 Barcelona, 1996 Atlanta; and Cholo Isungga, photographer and founder of Japanese ice cream brand Kuchidoke.

Be sure to watch out for our Quiz the Cook questions – we are giving away chock-full of prizes in this episode: five lucky winners will take a Tiger Tacook, a Signature Rolls Sushi Box and a Chicken Karaage meal set from Yayoi, and Japanese Ice Cream from Kuchidoke.

Kitchen 143 airs on Tuesday, August 31, at 4 pm. Bookmark this page to watch and win! – Rappler.com
