Another magical Christmas at Resorts World Manila’s Grand Fiesta Manila

Resorts World Manila (RWM) casts a magic spell of thrills this Yuletide season as it unveils its annual Grand Fiesta Manila (GFM) celebrations.

Magic is truly everywhere in the country’s pioneer integrated resort with loads of family attractions leading up to the New Year. With over a month-long revelry that brings the Filipino Christmas spirit under the spotlight, GFM is filled with world-class entertainment, sumptuous dining offers, cultural exhibits, and the grandest of parties to end the year.

Guests are invited to attend the annual Simbang Gabi, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day masses, and enjoy the free Christmas Day concert featuring the U.P. Singing Ambassadors with special guest Ariel Rivera.

Exclusive international and local shows for the whole family are also lined up at the award-winning Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT), including hit children’s television show Hi-5 Fairytale of Australia from December 16 to 18, and RWM’s hit musical production Annie which will have two more 3:00 pm finale shows on December 10 and 11. 

Meanwhile, another fleet of beautifully designed Pinoy Ultimate Jeepneys (PUJ) will be on display at the Newport Mall as various colleges and universities compete in the PUJ design competition. The finalists’ masterpieces will be on exhibit from December 12 to January 6, 2017 with the awards night slated on December 17.

Capping off this year’s magical Grand Fiesta Manila festivities is the biggest New Year’s Eve bash in the city, the Grand Countdown to 2017 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom (MGB).

The largest ballroom in the country, MGB is the perfect venue for world-class events such as the Grand Countdown. Featuring talented acts from both here and abroad, the family entertainment extravaganza promises to deliver as it did during the inaugural celebration last year with first-rate acts, the finest spread of gourmet dishes, and grand raffle prizes up for grabs.  

Veteran comedian and impersonator Jon Santos takes on the hosting duties for the event, as French illusionist Sophie Eldestein, international dancers and acrobats; top Filipino band Juan Miguel Salvador and The Authority Band; and two of the country’s most powerful vocalists, Lea Salonga and Bamboo, are all set to usher in 2017 in one of the metro’s biggest New Year’s Eve parties.

Simultaneously, celebrations are also lined up at The Plaza in Newport Mall featuring Pinoy rock icon Ely Buendia, Poprock Princess Yeng Constantino, and classic rock virtuosos Draybers, as well as at entertainment venue Bar 360 with enduring vocal group The Company as the main act.
