MANILA, Philippines – The University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law released online the results of its 2014 Law Aptitude Examination (LAE) on Thursday, January 30.
A total of 180 applicants successfully passed the LAE, while 130 others are for interview.
The results were released two months after the college administered the exam on Nov 24, 2013, in 3 campuses: UP Diliman, UP Cebu, and UP Davao.
The test included subjects on Communication Skills, Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary, Critical Thinking, and Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning.
Over the years, the UP College of Law has produced graduates who occupied high positions in government and the private sector. Among them have been 13 chief justices of the Supreme Court, including the country’s first female Chief Justice, Ma Lourdes Sereno.
