MANILA, Philippines – Broadcast giant GMA Network, Incorporated has partnered with OSN and StarHub to make its international channels available in Singapore, North Africa, and the Middle East.
Last March 16, GMA, through its international business unit GMA International, rolled out its 3 international channels in the Middle East and North Africa.
This was through a deal with OSN, the dominant pay-TV network in the region with 25 countries within its reach.
The linear channels are GMA’s flagship international channel GMA Pinoy TV, Filipino lifestyle channel GMA Life TV, and international news channel GMA News TV International.
OSN subscribers can access the 3 GMA international channels by upgrading to the Pinoy Plus Extra package.

Meanwhile, GMA Pinoy TV and GMA Life TV were both launched in Singapore via one of the major pay-TV operators there, StarHub, which has 536,000 subscribers.
GMA Pinoy TV and GMA on Demand will be available on StarHub TV and StarHub Go, while GMA Life TV will be available on StarHub TV.
“GMA is happy to partner with OSN and StarHub in order to better address the needs of our fellow Filipinos abroad by providing them with quality programs across different platforms,” Joseph Jerome Francia, GMA’s first vice-president and head of international operations, said in a statement.
Subscribers of OSN Pinoy Plus Extra and StarHub can also enjoy select GMA programs on-the-go through any Internet-enabled device.
In 2015, GMA launched its broadcast services in Europe through LycaTV, covering over 16 European countries.
The network’s international channels are now available in 60 countries and 50 states of the US and the District of Columbia through partnerships with the biggest carriers in the international broadcast industry. – Rappler.com
