MANILA-Philippines – Carriers Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Cebu Pacific on Monday, August 19 announced that rebooking fees have been waived for passengers who failed to take their flights due to bad weather today.
The airlines announced in advisories that rebooking fees are waived within 30 days from original flight dates.
“Please be advised that passengers who are unable to take their flights today may rebook their flights without penalties,” PAL said.
“Luzon-based passengers who are unable to take their flights today due to flooding in their area or en route to the airport may rebook their flights without penalties for travel within 30 days,” noted Cebu Pacific.
Tiger Airways Philippines, meanwhile, mounted additional Manila-Cebu-Manila flights on Sunday, August 18 to accommodate stranded passengers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and the Mactan Cebu International Airport. – Rappler.com
