“Reason of brownout is to facilitate replacement of metering structures of three current transformers at Candelaria Substation. Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion,” Vidal said.

He said Zameco 1 customers in parts of Masinloc, and the towns of Iba and Palauig will have no power from 7 am to 6 pm on Thursday.

Other parts of Zambales will experience a 3-hour power outage from 7 am to 10 am on Thursday,  including areas in Masinloc, and the towns of Candelaria and Santa Cruz. –
