Karylle to star in Asian TV series ‘Private Investigator’
Karylle is set to play a pole dancer in 'Private Investigator,' which filming in Singapore

MANILA, Philippines – Singer and TV host Karylle will be part of the upcoming Asian series Private Investigator, being filmed in Singapore.

On Instagram, Karylle’s manager Arnold Vegafria posted some photos with the cast including Karylle’s character. Karylle will play a pole dancer.

In another post, Arnold announced that Karylle was signed up by Mediacorp, Singapore’s leading network.

“This piece of good news should warm the hearts and cast a ray of sunshine on the storm-stricken denizens of Manila on this rainy weekend.

“Karylle has just been signed up by Mediacorp, Singapore’s leading TV network, to play the lead role of a personal investigator/pole dancer/single parent in a one season crime thriller series titled PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR, produced by Mediacorp and slated to be released in Asian countries.

“This just goes to show Karylle’s world-class caliber as an actress, and I’m very optimistic that this will soon open more doors for her in the Asian showbiz circuit in the months to come,” he said.

 

Arnold also shared photos of Karylle’s director Ian Seymour and leading man Terence Tay.

A week before she left for Singapore, Karylle announced that she will be taking time off from hosting It’s Showtime to do the series.

 

This is Karylle’s third project in Singapore. She previously starred as Maddie in the musical drama show Kitchen Musical with Christian Bautista, and appeared in the action drama Point of Entry as Tala. – Rappler.com
