The 'Game of Thrones' and 'Iron Fist' actress will no longer attend due to 'unforeseen circumstances'

MANILA, Philippines – Jessica Henwick is no longer attending the AsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2018.

APCC made the announcement on Facebook, and included a statement from Jessica’s management.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Jessica Henwick will not be attending AsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2018. Jessica is sad at having to disappoint her Filipino fans this year and thanks them for their support,” it said.

The post also included details for claiming refunds on tickets for Jessica’s APCC sessions.

According to APCC, they “are working hard to bring you more awesomeness into this event,” and will be making another big announcement in the coming week.

Jessica, who played Nymeria Sand on Game of Thrones and currently stars as Colleen Wing in Iron Fist, was initially scheduled to attend the APCC along with top comic book and cosplay artists, as well as her fellow Thrones and Iron Fist actor Finn Jones.

The APCC, which will be held this year from July 27 to 29 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, is known for bringing top celebrities to Manila. Past guests include Paul Bettany, Nathalie Emmanuel, Nicholas Hoult, Colton Haynes, Millie Bobby Brown, Ray Fisher, Tyler Hoechlin, Joe Keery, and Dacre Montgomery. – Rappler.com
