But the lead star of “Fast and Furious 6” surely knew how to top himself. In a short appearance at New Glorietta mall in Makati on May 16 to promote his latest flick, Vin Diesel drove the fans wild with effusive “Mahal ko kayo” and “I love Manila.”
And then he removed his signature sleeveless top.
Diesel appeared on the show last, after co-stars Gina Carano, Michelle Rodriguez, and Luke Evans. He didn’t need any introduction, the crowd went shrieking as he approached the stage.

“I don’t want to leave Manila. Does anyone have a spare bedroom I can stay in?” he said, sending the audience roaring as they volunteered their place.
“I love Manila…. Mahal ko kayo,” he kept on shouting.
Diesel called the Manila leg of the “Fast and Furious 6” promo the “best premiere ever.” He expressed interest in shooting a movie in the Philippines in the future.
And the sweet end to his short appearance? Diesel removed his top and handed it to an astonished fan. The sight of a shirtless Vin Diesel was more than enough to send the crowd cheering their lungs out.
Another highlight of the New Glorietta event was the autograph signing, where fans lined up to cast members Carano, Rodriguez, and Evans.
