People’s Choice Awards kicks off awards season

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Awards season is in full swing, starting with the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California. 

The early results from the various awards shows are thought to be good indicators for the nominees’ performance in 2013, culminating at this Oscars this March.  

The awards shows are also famed for the parade of fashion, with stars stepping out in their statement-making best. As early as now, white outfits seem to be in the spotlight on red carpet, with host Beth Behrs, Jessica Alba, and Jennifer Hudson arriving wearing variations of the non-color. 

This year’s People’s Choice Awards is hosted by 2 Broke Girls stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs.
