Matteo on Sarah G: ‘I want her to be my last’

MANILA, Philippines – A few months after their relationship was confirmed to the public, actor Matteo Guidicelli has said that if he had his way, he wants girlfriend, singer Sarah Geronimo to be his last relationship.

“Yeah I want her to be my last already ‘di ba? So we’ll see in the future. We talk about it and all that stuff so hopefully we’ll see. you can never tell, only the Lord knows,” Matteo said during an interview with the press for the movie Moron 5 aired Thursday, October 9 on ABS-CBN.

As for the never-ending issue that Sarah’s mom Divine Geronimo is strict with her daughter, Matteo, whose relationship with Sarah was confirmed last June, said he would rather not talk about it as a sign of respect to his girlfriend’s mom.

“There are issues that are private to share with you guys ‘di ba because I also respect their side but syempre, it’s not an easy ride…I love this person very much so I’ll do whatever it takes,” he said.

In another ABS-CBN report, Matteo said that he respects the type of parenting his girlfriend’s mom does.

“I don’t know. A mom is always a mom, I guess. Every household has its own style in protecting their daughter or son. We just have to live with what’s in front of us and take out the positivity and throw away the negativity,” he said. 

In the same report, Matteo said that what is important is that he and Sarah try to keep their relationship positive.

“Masaya naman lahat. (Everyone is happy.) We try to keep it positive all the time. Kung meron mang mga (If there are) negative people, that’s their problem to be negative. Kami (With us), we are just positive,” he said. – Rappler.com
