Marian Rivera thanks fans, friends after ‘Royal Wedding’

MANILA, Philippines – Hours after their much-anticipated wedding, Marian Rivera said she is cherishing the moment of being Dingdong Dantes’ wife. 

On Instagram, Marian posted their wedding photo and a message.

“Yesterday, I received the supreme blessing of becoming a “wife”. It is time to live it with much love,” she wrote.

She also shared a photo of her and parents. 

 “I’ve always wanted to have this photo. Yesterday, this dream became a reality. A family photo…finally! Thank you sa pagmamahal niyo! love you Mama and Papa…. Haaaay priceless moment. Thank you Lord.”

Marian and Dingdong married on Tuesday, December 30 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Cubao with President Benigno Aquino III as one of the guests. Other stars such as Kris Aquino, Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto, and German Moreno were present to witness their union. 

Their closest friends and family members were also in attendance. After the ceremony, they went to the reception at the Mall of Asia Arena, where guests were treated to fun, food and music.

The couple’s fans were also present at the event, as were their celebrity friends, who helped the couple document their big day. 

The two got engaged last August when Dingdong proposed to Marian on her TV show.  Their pre-wedding photos and video have also been shared by their fans. –Rappler.com
