MANILA, Philippines – Years after Kanye West’s infamous 2009 storming of the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), things are all well between the rapper and pop princess Taylor Swift.
The two seemed much chummier at the 2015 Grammy Awards. (READ: IN PHOTOS: Red carpet, Grammys 2015)
The two artists were seen grasping hands and smiling together at the awards show on Sunday, February 8 (Monday, February 9 in Manila).

— MTV News (@MTVNews) February 9, 2015Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech during the 2009 VMAs when she won the Moonman for Best Female Music Video for “You Belong With Me,” which beat Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.”
When the singer was about to make her speech, Kanye stormed the stage and took the microphone from her, saying, “Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time,”he said before getting off the stage.
This prompted social media users at the time to defend Taylor, and Kanye later apologized.
Everyone’s moved on. During the Grammys, Kanye even seemed to make a joking attempt to interrupt Beck for beating out Sam Smith, Pharrell, and – of course – Beyonce in the Album of the Year category. It was all a joke, of course.
Kanye performed twice during the awards night. He performed “Only One” with Paul McCartney and new single “FourFiveSeconds” with Rihanna and Paul McCartney. – Rappler.com
