MANILA, Philippines – After portraying one of the fallen 44 soldiers in Maalaala Mo Kaya, Coco Martin is set to play the lead in a teleserye remake of Ang Probinsyano, one of the movies starring the late Fernando Poe Jr.
The announcement was made during a press conference held at ABS-CBN Monday, May 18. Present were ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio, FPJ’s wife Susan Roces and the rest of the cast led by Coco, Albert Martinez, Bela Padilla, and Angeline Quinto.
Based on the 1997 movie of the same name, Ang Probinsyano is a project of ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment Television. –Rappler.com
