MANILA, Philippines – Superstar Nora Aunor won the Best Actress in a Foreign Film award for her role in Dementia at the St Tropez Film Festival in France, Saturday, May 16. 

According to a series of Facebook posts by film producer Ferdinand Lapuz, aside from Nora, actor Emilio Garcia won Best Supporting Actor in a Foreign Film for Jason Paul Laxamana’s Magkakabaung, (The Coffin Maker) and Dementia won Best Foreign Language Film.

Perci Intalan, director of Dementia accepted the awards on behalf of Nora who was unable to attend the ceremony.

On Instagram, Perci thanked everyone for the support.
