Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray announced on Sunday, June 27 that she is launching her own “The Catriona Gray Academy” via the online platform Nas Academy.
“I’ll be joining a list of content creators who’ve turned educators at the Academy – and I can’t wait to use this platform to teach you how to empower yourself every single day,” Catriona said on Instagram.
The beauty queen shared that she will share her insights and advice via the platform. “This is my first, in-depth course teaching you the skills and tips I used to conquer the Universe and every other stage I’ve been on since,” she added.
Titled “How To Be A Queen,” the first course offering from “The Catriona Gray Academy” will see the beauty queen help participants “speak your mind, build self-confidence, overcome insecurities and win over challenges.”
“Give your life a complete makeover as the former beauty queen guides you through how to empower yourself every single day,” the course description read.
According to the Nas Academy website, the coursework also includes “live ‘sister bonding’ session and sleepover party with classmates, monthly meetups with Catriona” and joining an “exclusive community of queens.”
As of writing, waitlist applications for “The Catriona Gray Academy” are already open. Interested applicants can sign-up for the course on the Nas Academy website.
Catriona is the fourth Filipino beauty queen to win the Miss Universe crown in 2018. In June 2021, Catriona released her own version of “Raise Your Flag,” a song inspired by the beauty queen’s statements during her Miss Universe 2018 pageant journey.
Catriona is set to host Binibining Pilipinas 2021 grand coronation night on July 11 with Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves. – Rappler.com
