Mo Twister and Angelicopter wed in Iceland

Former Radio DJs Mo Twister and Angelicopter have tied the knot.

Mo, Mohan Gumatay in real life, made the announcement in an Instagram post on Wednesday, June 16. He shared a photo with his wife Angelika Schmeing from their wedding in Iceland. 

“Here’s a tip about getting married in a faraway wilderness like Iceland. Have not one but two backup plans for the second time we have been here together, things we scheduled a long time ago were canceled by the weather,” he began. 

Mo then shared the struggles they went through due to an unexpected “summertime snow storm.” “We had some extreme weather that made us have to completely overhaul the entire day,” he said.

Mo said that Angelika’s wedding dress was ripped, his clothes were drenched, and their kids had to stay behind in the hotel because they “nearly froze to death.” 

“Then like a miracle, we found a bright, calm, and sunny spot wherein it ended up with just the two of us. Insane and insanely romantic. It was incredible,” he said. 

Mo also posted a photo of Angelika in her wedding dress in the middle of snow-covered mountains.  “My Khaleesi calling on the dragons,” he wrote in reference to Game of Thrones. 

Mo and Angelika got engaged last May 2020. The US-based couple have a daughter together.

Angelika has a son from a previous marriage. Mo has a daughter with his former partner Bunny Paras. – Rappler.com
