[WATCH] Rappler Live Jam: Arthur Nery

Among the crop of young artists breaking into the OPM scene with a fresh new sound is Arthur Nery.

Hailing from Cagayan de Oro, Arthur began singing at a young age, and realized early on that he wanted a career in music. When he was 8 years old, he performed at a cousin’s 18th birthday party, and hasn’t looked back since then, eventually signing with O/C Records.

He has since performed in various venues all over the country, including Brewery at The Palace, 70s Bistro, Dulo MNL, and 12 Monkeys Music Hall, and has also performed at gigs alongside some of the country’s biggest bands.

He released his first single “Life Puzzle” in 2018 in collaboration with DJ Yuuki Tacastacas, but there’s more to come from this artist, who is gearing up to release his songs “Cotton Candy,” “Binhi,” and “Storm” very soon.
