First Look: Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in ‘Batman v Superman’

MANILA, Philippines – Wonder Woman will finally be seen in action in the upcoming Batman v Superman movie, and there’s a first look photo going around the Internet. 

Director Zack Snyder has released a photo of Israeli actress Gal Gadot as the legendary female superhero. But unlike the red, blue and gold costume everyone has come to know, Gal is wearing coppery brown colored armor and carrying a sword.

“I’m ready… are you? #ww #wonderwoman #DC @wbpictures #BatmanvSuperman #SDCC,” Gal wrote as she posted the same photo.

According to a report by People, Gal attended this year’s Comic-Con at San Diego and was greeted by fans, and accompanied by stars Ben Affleck, who plays Batman and Henry Cavill, who will reprise the role of Superman. The three were present at the event, where a 20-second sneak peek was shown to the fans.

A former Miss Israel contestant, Gal is known for roles in the Fast and the Furious franchise. 

Snyder has previously released photos of the movie, including shots of Ben Affleck as Batman, as well as a look at the Batmobile. – Rappler.com
