Harry is apparently playing Eros, also known as Starfox, the brother of Thanos and a superhero with the power to arouse people

Harry Styles’ natural superhuman ability to infatuate people has now apparently been harnessed by the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as he appears in its latest film, The Eternals, as Eros.

In a tweet from the premiere of The Eternals on October 19, Variety senior film writer Matt Donnelly said, “Harry Styles has joined the MCU as Eros, brother of Thanos.”

In true Starfox fashion, Harry’s appearance – which apparently happens post-credits – made the audience squeal, according to Variety editor Marc Malkin.

According to Marvel, Eros – named after the Greek god of love and sex – is the youngest son of the Eternals A’Lars ans Sui-San. He goes by the superhero name Starfox.

In addition to the usual superhero powers of superhuman strength, speed, flight, and regeneration, Starfox also has the ability to stimulate the pleasure centers in people’s brains, allowing him to create euphoria, arousal, and other positive emotions.

He has a fraught relationship with his brother Thanos, and in the comics, has fought against him in several battles – though they do have a truce once every 1,000 years.

Marvel has yet to officially announce Harry’s role in the MCU, though fans are already excited about the development.

The Eternals, Marvel’s latest film, tells the story of an immortal alien race who come out of hiding after thousands of years on Earth to protect humans from malevolent aliens.

It is set to hit US cinemas on November 5. – Rappler.com
