[WATCH] Rappler Live Jam: Imago

Pop-rock band Imago has made its mark on the Filipino music scene over the years, with hits like the mournful “Akap” and the catchy, upbeat “Taralets.”

Formed in the late ’90s, Imago started out with Aia de Leon on vocals and Michelle Pritchard on violin. Back then, their Celtic-inspired sound was totally different from the music they’re known for today.

At present, they’re led by Mayumi Gomez on vocals, with Zach Lucero and Tim Cacho on guitars, Mervin Panganiban on drums, and Myrene Academia on bass.
