Stars react to President Duterte’s first SONA

MANILA, Philippines – President Rodrigo Duterte delivered his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday, July 25, and celebrities were quick to share their views on his speech.

Vice Ganda tweeted that he would continue to pray for the President, that he’d be able to do his job well. 

As an ordinary citizen of this country I will continue to pray for the President. I will let God guide him. God bless President Duterte.

Actress Coleen Garcia said that she found Duterte’s speech “simple, straightforward, and sincere.”
