MANILA, Philippines – Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray crowned her sucessor, Laura Lehmann, on Monday, September 4, after a tight competition among 35 candidates.
Laura, who is a TV host, UAAP courtside reporter, and former Binibining Pilipinas candidate, shone during the swimsuit and evening gown competitions during coronation night.
Also present during Laura’s crowning moment at the Mall of Asia Arena were Miss World 2013 Megan Young, along with Miss World Organization chairperson Julia Morley, Mandla Mandela, and Miss World 2016 Stephanie del Valle.
Laura will represent the Philippines at the Miss World 2017 competition in Sanya China on November 18. – Rappler.com
