MANILA, Philippines – Tropical Depression Onyok has made landfall over Manay, Davao Oriental on Friday night, December 18, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.
It has weakened into a low pressure area (LPA) after making landfall at 9:30 pm Friday. As of 10 pm, the LPA was located in the vicinity of Caraga/Manay, Davao Oriental.
However, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (NDRRMC) chief Alexander Pama warned affected residents of floods and landslides particularly those living along rivers and near mining areas.
