MANILA, Philippines – That afternoon, we kept up with the Kardashians.

At least as far as Robert “Rob” Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are concerned.

Fashion media and Kardashian fans gathered in a relaxed afternoon on October 26, Friday, at the Manila ballroom of Makati Shangri-La for the press conference that formally launched Rob Kardashian and Kylie Jenner as the newest image models of Human, sister company of retail brand Bench.

Hosted by ABS-CBN’s Ginger Conejero, the event was intimate and relaxed, probably because both Rob and Kylie were relaxed, too. They didn’t act like the reality superstars  (like it or not) that they are. Instead, they were just a brother and a sister having fun traveling and shopping.

Rob just happens to be the only brother of Kim Kardashian, and Kylie the youngest daughter of Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner.

They are half-siblings through their mom, Kris Jenner.

While both Rob and Kylie attribute their good sense of fashion to their family (specially their sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloe) both say they are doing their own thing, with Rob launching his own sock line and doing a project with Neiman Marcus, and Kylie launching her own book soon.

I live-tweeted from the presscon. If you missed them, check out my tweets below.

Rob and Kylie are walking in the Human fashion show for Philippine Fashion Week 2013 this afternoon, 3 pm, at the SM Mall of Asia main atrium.

Kylie has walked the runway before; for Rob, it’s his first time.

“So you will probably see footage in ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’,” he said at the presscon, cracking everyone up.
