MANILA, Philippines – Days after style icon Sarah Jessica Parker visited Manila, another fashion guru has touched down on the capital.

“Project Runway” judge and Marie Claire magazine fashion director Nina Garcia arrived yesterday to take part in the 2013 Philippine Fashion Week happening from May 22 to 26.

The Colombian fashion journalist will participate in “Jag Origins,” a forum to promote creative thinking, art and design among Filipino students. The event will be held on May 24 at the SMX Convention Center and will serve as the culmination of the “Jag Holiday 2013” fashion show.
