MANILA, Philippines – Love tinkering, learning, and anything DIY? What about discovering new ideas and radical inventions? Then The Mind Museum is the place for you to be from June 22-23 as it hosts for the 3rd time the global Manila Mini Maker Faire (MMMF) 2019.
MMMF – a melting pot of science, art, engineering, creativity, entrepreneurship, and craft – is a gathering of curious people who enjoy learning, discovering innovative solutions, and sharing what they do.
The admission-free event will feature 150 DIY makers from all over the Philippines and Asia as they present their DIY projects and fascinating DIY inventions to the public – some of which have never seen light outside of their makers’ garages or home workshops.
These makers aren’t just limited to field experts and specialists – these inventors also include young children, students, members of indigeneous local communities, and other inspiring tinkerers, hobbyists, and enthusiasts.
For 2019, MMMF’s projects will fall under the environmentally-sustainable theme, showcasing resourceful inventions such as solar-powered waste collectors, motorcycles retrofitted with electric engines, and products made purely from ocean plastic.
Aside from the exhibit, attendees can also get busy with their own hands by participating in various activities and DIY workshops, such as bokashi mudball making, robotics, paper engineering, 3D design, and many more.
Now who’s ready to get tinkering?
