Long lines marked the opening of Jollibee's 16th store in the United Arab Emirates

Filipino restaurant chain Jollibee opened its 48th store in the Middle East on Monday, November 16, making it their 16th store in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The new branch located in Hamdan Street, a busy area in UAE’s capital Abu Dhabi, was greeted by long, socially-distanced lines on opening day until the evening, with over 2,000 Chickenjoy pieces sold in just one day.

Jollibee also has over 1,400 stores globally, including in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. – Rappler.com
