How will the former statesman, who was jailed twice during martial law, react to the youth's views on the EDSA revolution?

A statesman during the Marcos administration, Aquilino “Nene” Pimentel Jr became a political prisoner after opposing martial law.

“Immediately before EDSA took place, I was a member of the Batasan,” he said. From an assemblyman in the streets protesting Ferdinand Marcos’ rule, Pimentel became a senator during the Corazon Aquino administration.

For the 30th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, Rappler’s MovePH conducted a conversation on both Facebook and Twitter to get the youth to share their thoughts on a pivotal point in Philippine history.
