#Rappler Assignments: #DivaTaxi

Report to us abusive cab drivers whom you've encountered this holiday season

MANILA, Philippines – The holiday season is here and there’s a lot of last-minute shopping and errand runs. This also means abusive taxi drivers are as rampant as ever.

This week, your #Rappler Assignment is to send in videos of abusive taxi drivers.

Have you ever been turned down by a cab during peak hours? Were you forced to pay an extra amount? Frustrated by cab drivers who choose passengers? If you’ve experienced any of these, especially during the holiday season, report them to us! We’d love to hear your stories and reports.

You can send your videos via any of the following means:

  • Twitter: Use the hashtag #Rappler
  • Facebook: Upload them to your Facebook page and tag Rappler.
  • E-mail: Send an email to desk@rappler.com using #Rappler in the subject line.

Don’t forget to include the name of the cab’s franchise and the plate number when submitting your reports.

Your video reports will be featured on the Rappler Newscast and will be forwarded to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).

Here are some of the reports we’ve received so far:
