
MANILA, Philippines – Former Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago’s remains will be interred on Sunday, October 2, at the Loyola Memorial Chapel and Crematorium in Marikina.
According to the family’s spokesperson, lawyer Rissa Ofilada, a mass for the senator will be held at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Cubao, Quezon City where her remains are currently located for public viewing. (READ: Miriam Defensor Santiago, former senator, dies)
The mass on Sunday will begin at 1pm. Following the mass, she will be transferred to the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City. – Rappler.com
