For safety: 2 Serendra sections isolated
The developer of Serendra says it is assisting the police in the probe

MANILA, Philippines – The developer of Serendra said Saturday, June 1, it has isolated two sections of Two Serendra following the Friday, May 31 blast that killed 3 and injured 5 others.

In a statement, Ayala Land said it is “closely coordinating [with] and assisting the police on matters pertaining to the investigation.” The company said it will give updates as they become available.

It said it has relocated residents of the condominium to a temporary lodging until authorities allow them to return.

The developer said its teams have also been inspecting other areas in Serendra to ensure the safety of residents and the public.

On Saturday, Interior Secretary Mar Roxas said that the cause of the explosion is still being determined, although initial reports indicated there was no residue of explosives in the area.

The developer assured the public and victims that “it continues to look into the condition and welfare of those who were affected by the incident.” –
