MANILA, Philippines – Several provinces in the country will experience cloudy skies on Monday, February 29, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its afternoon bulletin released on Sunday, February 28, PAGASA reported that Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Rizal, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.

Cloudy skies with light rains, meanwhile, will prevail over the regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Ilocos, and the rest of Central Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA added that a tail-end of a cold front is affecting the eastern section of Central Luzon while northeast monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon.

Winds over nothern and central luzon will be moderate and strong from the northeast with moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, wind will be light to moderate from the east to northeast with slight to moderate coastal waters.
